A reminder for myself and my sons that you cannot - MUST not - stand in one spot too long. Do not become complacent with adequacy, nor be satisfied with just getting by when you have more to achieve and SO much more to offer. Do not fear... you must begin.

Rest in peace, Mr. Mandela
May the peace you fought so hard for here on earth overwhelm you in Heaven.
May God grant your family serenity in their time of sorrow.

Just trying to get sh!t done...
For instance: still trying to get rid of a very tenacious headache. Day two.
Attempting to finsh up the rough draft of my last essay for composition class.
Continuing to cut out something in the neighborhood of 1,200-1,500 one inch squares - all in some shade or tint of yellow.
Finally managed to find the correct combination of weather stripping to seal the gaps that had developed around the front door. The old seal did its duty over the last three or four years, but finally gave up the ghost. Noticed drafts, outdoor noises, and light coming in on two sides, so Brian made two trips to the hardware store (in as many days) to bring home the most adequate stripping available. Even then, it took some detailed trimming to finally make it all work. We can now shut the door without a fight, AND lock the deadbolt from the inside AND the outside, too!
