These photos will show you where I am, progress-wise, with the latest pet quilt offering. As you can see I have returned to primary color studies with black. The contrasts really get my creative juices flowing and I feel less like I am drowning in other areas of my life.

I was looking over the MAB web site, and located the description for WNEM, and when I read to the bottom of the description guess what I found.

Fine, I'll tell you. The deadline for the submission of 'goods' to them for the trainee position was before I found out about it.

Ah well. I can only hope and pray that my connection helps to get my foot in the door, and that I am thrown a huge bone.
If not, it's back to the grindstone. Actually, I haven't left the grindstone, I just haven't been really applying myself to the whole search-and-send-resumes-thing. But I now know I have to get back to it full time.
Oh, if only somebody paid me to continually search for work and send in resumes to prospective employer interviewers.

I have been "working in film", the cheap way for a production company to get more on-screen people without paying the cost. However, it has allowed me to stay working for the last several days...and my mug will be in the film - depending upon how it is edited.
At any rate, it has been a great experience, and an eye opener! Still, all-in-all, I would like to work on another picture if given the opportunity.

Pre-production seemed to take so long to finish before getting to the meat of the thing, and now that there are only two days to go in production, I feel incredibly sad that the hullaballoo will be over in the blink of an eye.

I know he knows I love him, and both of the boys are aware of the $ straights I am in since May of last year, but it doesn't seem right that I should have let the free thing I could have managed to do fall by the wayside.
Brian has been experiencing his own issues lately, but we are crawling forward. Always forward.
On his birthday, I shanghai'd him to work on the set with me as an extra. He was supposed to be a dweeb in a sword fight, but that was scrubbed by the time we arrived that morning. Word was they would shoot it another time....never happened. As a matter of fact, there are quite a few scenes which are not even being shot, now, and they were quite funny (and I think integral) to other scenes (and to carry the story line).
Ah well.
It is all about the money, or the lack thereof.
Any who...he was positioned during one scene, to sit within a few yards of Christina Ricci! Afterwards, he came up to me and said he was so over the Ricci! HA! I will post photos another time.
For now, it is late, and I have things to do before heading to day #21 of 24. We begin night shoots this evening, and after the last few days of day/night splits, I am only going to be a little discombobulated! The weather this evening will be tolerable, but will be dipping into the 40's for the remainder, along with some rain overnight. Not cool. So I will keep you posted.
I am looking for work...anybody have a job for me? :^)
