Cats are fed and burping, purring, cleaning, happy (for the moment).
Boys are still fast asleep. Brian is mostly over his bug; coughing much less, and returning to work after two days off. Karl has taken his final exam and is relieved to be done with class for the time being.
We pulled/pushed/rocked and cajoled the beautiful new stove (time is relative since it's been standing, crated up, in the garage for the last 5-6 years) into the house and ultimately into it's spot in the kitchen yesterday. I did do the happy dance for about 45 seconds! Next steps are whenever they can be arranged.
Cleaned a bunch of stuff out of the garage before the trash collection, too, making a nice chunk of open room for possible car parking this winter. Very cool! Will continue to chip away at it, but the quilting comes first, despite deep desires to walk out to a totally snow-free vehicle in the dead of winter.
Daylight is brighter so I will be off for the time being. Need to utilize the sun for important things like completing the creation of stencils and getting first quilting tracks onto the project.
Have a good day.
