Nearly giddy

I made myself a cup of tea moments ago, and totally expected to have to fill the sugar bowl (because yesterday - I noted - it was running quite low).

Imagine my surprise when I lifted the lid to find it had already been filled!

[swoon, palpitations]

Be still my heart.

You know what this means, don't you? They CAN be taught!

Now, if I can just get them to actually place the new roll of toilet tissue on the roll (to the right) and not simply set it on the counter to the left.
