I spent a good portion of the time thinking of the quilting I could have been doing.
On the other hand, we made a tiny dent in the stock still boxed up out in the garage ("tiny" because most of the sales made were of little board books for very young children - and they are quite small).
And while still on the 'other hand', I just want to issue a huge thank you to Barb and Jean for all of the hard work and effort they put in towards getting the books to Flint for the bazaar; getting them into the building and set up; manning (OR, 'WO-MANNING') the tables with me: helping to tearing it all down and re-box it in record time and getting it back out to the car; and in placing it back into what has become this stock's rightful place of honor - and disgrace - in the car park of my life (minus the cars).
I do wish all of the effort had yielded a better outcome and way emptier boxes, but it seems everyone at the bazaar had a poor, poor day. The volume of shoppers was next to ghostly, and unless you had biscotti and flavored coffee mix (or dip) at your table, you sold very little. That darned coffee lady!
Ah well. Back to the sewing board.
