Nothing much to say beyond "hello" and "thank you for dropping by."
Today was a busy day - mostly pertaining to Karl's schedule. It began with getting the trash out (and just in the knick of time, too) prior to getting on the road for Karl's class. Last week we took the opportunity to schedule tutoring for him one day per week immediately following class, and I get the feeling he must be getting something out of it.
Even though he is reserved about sharing the happenings of his day and/or his feelings or thoughts, he must have enjoyed himself at some level, for he stayed with the tutor this afternoon an additional twenty minutes beyond his scheduled session! After that, he stopped into the gaming club on the way out and spotted a few people he knew. They gabbed for about half an hour!
On the way home we spoke about whether he would like to plan on stopping by the geek club once in a while after class - he's giving it some thought.
I ran a couple of errands while K was in class, then we hit the bank on the way home and capped off our road trip with a stop at the insurance office to renew our membership and make a payment on the auto policy.
Once home, Karl trundled off to his room and the comfort of his computer corner and sweatpants. I swept the floors and read a newspaper, checked email for job responses and new listings, then applied myself to constructing another 100-square block for my latest project. Tomorrow will find me cutting out more than 500 one-and-one-half-inch squares of the next color needed.
At present I am dividing my time between typing a quick nothing here and making dinner. We are having small steaks, spaghetti squash and baked potatoes - what's on your menu?
