One more thing

I think, perhaps, some of my malaise stems from having been invited to a Mardi Gras birthday celebration for/by my friend, Merrill Capps. He's a terrific young actor, and he very sweetly included me in his birthday bash guest list.

"Why," I can hear you asking, "are you disappointed to have been invited to a birthday party in New Orleans?"

Well, obviously, the disappointment lies in the fact that I can't be there....not in the having been invited. He had arranged for his guests to have places to stay, and I have no way to get there without the funding at this time. What fun it would have been, too, knowing Mer.

Ah well, there's always next year.
